Have the last few years been strange for summer weather over there? Or is this the norm?

This is somewhat normal in that the weather is slightly different every year. This is by far the wettest year that I remember.

It isn't unusual to get big changes in temperature over a short period of time.

Ah ok. A family friend in Helena MT said last years freak early July storms weren’t normal. Yet, it was storming like crazy again this year. Glad we didn’t make the drive. Stayed home and was in the 80’s the whole time.

We go back and forth on moving out of Washington, but somehow the nasty weather elsewhere keeps us here lol
