⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

When they started going after trees that had been planted 20 years ago, I fenced them out of my growing area. I used 2"x4"x6' welded wire for the perimeter fencing. It has worked very well.

I had them fenced out of the garden area right from the start. Now that fence does a pretty good job of keeping the turkeys out of the garden. The garden fence is 8' tall with poultry fencing at the bottom to keep the bunnies out.

This works really well for building your own gates.

The bunnies need fresh crunchy greens!

Is it my imagination, or are chicken chicks actually less messy than quail chicks? It could be because there are only three of them, but they don't seem to eat and poop as much, and their poop is more solid.
I noticed the same thing. My quail were sooo messy. And stinky. I felt like I was constantly cleaning their brooder lol
