⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

Surprised they survive the gold fish. I hear frogs taste just like chicken.
When the pond becomes overgrown with cattails, some of the eggs make it through to hatch day and some of the tadpoles turn into frogs. When the pond is clear the fish eat all of the eggs.

probably. It took a decade for the frogs to show up here. The closest water source that was capable of supporting frogs was half a mile away across a field that would get too dry for an amphibian to survive.
That's the thing. I'm not sure I'm close enough to a water source to get them. During the fall/spring, there's a drainage ditch that gets a fair amount of water, but I haven't seen frogs. Not that I've looked all that hard, to be honest.

Not quite. When I took French (7 years of it) we occasionally went to French restaurants, which is why I know what escargot and cuisse de grenouille taste like.

And oysters taste like tabasco sauce.

Really, they don't taste at all. It's more of a texture thing. Maybe a little fishy, but that's as close as I can come to describing it.
Cooked snails have a nicer texture than oysters (raw or cooked).
