Oh my gawd.
I was trying to get ready for the day and the gremlin came up to my bathroom door and yelled "aVa rOsIe hAs a tUrD on her bUtT!!!". My dad was on a work call one room over and I'm sure they could here everything. He nearly said it a second time before I got out and grabbed him, then had to take care of Rosie.
What a great strat to my morning.

I am genuinely asking because I always thought it was 'marinade'.
Or is it 'to marinate' or 'apply marinade'

You marinate something in a marinade.
To marinate is to place something in a marinade.
A marinade is something that you place food into in order to tenderize and/or infuse with flavor.
