You could put them in with the mountain icon or just copy/paste them in before and you still can.

Yeah but now you can scroll through and search for them right from the toolbar, instead of having to google them or whatever, then copy and paste them in.

I just tried inserting one from my phone and it doesn't work.
I mean it doesn't work the same way that I can use my phone smiley faces.
