⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

You just learned something useful. Don't give money away to people begging on street corners. You will only be enabling them...for real.
X2. I’ve kinda learned that all my life. It’s sad that there’s all these fakes earning a ton and then no one actually trusts the few people that actually are homeless and can’t do anything about it

Just today I actually was trying to convince the mini to just do homeschooling.
I didn't want to do the homeschooling before but now I kind of do and he doesn't.

Every single time he does the virtual learning he finishes his work quickly and then sits around and goofs off for the rest of the period...on camera.
On these new weird days,II forgot what they're called, they don't have to be on camera and they can do their work in 30 minutes and then do whatever they want the rest of the day.
Synchronous days = in zoom & logged in on time

Asynchronous days= logged it by "x'o'clock" and at your pace class work.

If your curious about true "home schooling" here's a flavor to look at we have used it before and are currently using it for 2 of the kiddos:
Connections Academy. They are actually head office is in your backyard too.

I actually started with connections and it did not go well for me. I heard that from several other people, too. Not trying to knock the idea down at all...I just felt like it was way too much school work to keep having to catch up on, for example they would cram in about 5-10 different lessons or whatever that took about a half hour to an hour long per subject a day, plus you had to tune in live with about 20 other students and a teacher once every few days

It's all good. We did it back in 2007-2010 for the older boys. It was okay. We then did Unschooling then a private school before transitioned back to public for a variety of reasons..... The girls seem to be doing better and more at home with it "now" as compared to the online version our local district is struggling with.....
