⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

Didn’t know you could train a dog with PowerPoint 🤔
Lol I just have some things I want to work on with them

They both did great. I just got back from training them.
Roxy caught on to sit and down very quickly. It helps that she's so low to the ground so it doesn't take much to have all four legs on the ground.
Finn took a little while to understand but once he caught on he did it perfectly. I just want to have their owner work with them a bit more next. This time I wanted to show her how I did it and why I do it the way I do.

Playing bridge with my siblings tonight for younger sister's birthday.
So I'm marking my spot...

Update on the remodel...which has finally begun to move quickly...
Sheetrock/painter is waiting on the tile floors which are going in Friday after they float the floors in the den and kitchen tomorrow.
:barnie:he Almost got derailed when the den (a renovated single car garage) floor demo crew found out that the sub floor was built on an elevated wooden floor...8 inches high. Basically
my choices were
1) somehow pour a concrete slab to keep the floor level with the kitchen...8 inches by 17 feet by 21 feet. [. :hitwhich child was I going to sell to raise the funds]. Logistically I'm thinking remove a window screen and back the truck up
2) remove the elevated floor and install a step down into the den and somehow match the paneling and fireplace brick wall in the exposed areas before floating the floor for the tile...I'm seeing weeks added to the deadline.
3) Thank heavens a creative clearheaded tiler suggested that they simply replace the layer of subfloor with new tongue in groove floor inlayment, skip the float since the level floor is elevated above any possible water damage, lay down a moisture barrier and tile on Friday. :celebrateHe is getting dozens of fresh eggs and jelly for a very long time!
Back on track!
Electric crew has about half of the wiring done waiting on floors and painter.
The plumber was here today setting in the drain for the shower and installing the inside of the wall fittings for the shower, tub and vanities for both bath rooms. He will return on Friday to complete those and then returns to set up the fixtures when tilers are finished and the cabinets are installed.
All light fixtures and ceiling fans are delivered. The stove and range hood/exhaust fan are here. The tub and sinks are on site. The new dishwasher arrives on the 24th.
Sister talked me into leaving her my washer and dryer for the rent house...really had to twist my arm...going stainless steel on appliances...must be consistent. Need to pick them out and still need to decide on the refrigerator.
I'm hoping the light I'm seeing at the end of the tunnel is not another train.

We use BlueJeans app for virtual visit...socially distanced between San Francisco and Los Angeles in California and Norman and Meeker in Oklahoma. This has been a regular event twice a week now for 7 months and has saved my sanity during this pandemic.
We are all 65 and older. The youngest turned 65 in late January...still trying to get his first dose shot. We three sisters have had our first and scheduled for the second dose.

@Kiki ’s threads have been a “go to“ for some friendly banter and I want to thank you all for those chuckles, support and laughter.
