No space heaters...all gone.
I have three heating pads and I think that will be okay... I'm hoping that will be okay if needed.

Do you have a lot of blankets? I sometimes don’t even turn my heat on or just barely have it on and just pile under a ton of blankets but I know you guys aren’t used to this!

We have never ever had to worry about freezing to death before.

Well what the heck you live in hurricane alley so why wouldn’t you have a generator ready to go.

Got my stuff from home depot about to go install my water line drain shortly. Also supposed to change a valve cover gasket but that may wait. Generator is full with backup gas and propane just incase. No need for food or water/drinks thats always covered

One word of advice buy yourself a hand transfer pump for $5 and fill up your cars and/or trucks gas tank and you’ll have the biggest gas can you can have.

I wouldn’t worry about losing power so much as I would water mains bursting in your area. They are not easy fixes so if a lot pop it will be a long tome without water.

What kind of heater. Look at the tag on the heater and tell me how many amps it takes

Mex has 55 gallon drums that he can use for gas but I don't think he's going to.
I get the feeling that he's not worried about losing power at all like I am thanks to you.
