My roommate and I were talking about weird food combinations, and Elvis Pressley and his peanut butter and banana sandwiches came up. She'd had them before and really wanted one, but she's dieting right now, so she made one and we each had half.

Yep. Melt a bit of butter and fry like you would a grilled cheese sandwich. I thought it sounded weird too, but it was tasty.

I've heard that they can be deep fried, but I rarely deep fry anything. That is making me want tempura, though. Maybe next week.

There's a difference between fried and deep fried.

Hmm true! I just always think of fried as the oil and breading type one to me it’s just toasted or whatever in the pan
