It's late. I spent all day cooking, but here is the birthday feast:
Cucumber salad
Tempura
Miso soup
Nigiri
Spinach salad
Pickled Daikon
Tamago yaki
Sushi
Tteokbokki
Siu mai
Pizza (for the pet)

Is Sushi hard to make? Was that raw fish sushi or cucumber type of sushi? One day I want to make sushi. For now, I buy it at a sushi restaurant

It's not too bad. That's vegetable and tamago sushi. Green onion, carrot, cucumber, avocado, seasoned egg (mix and match, not necessarily all in the same roll).

If I wanted to get into quail, should I hatch my own or buy them as chicks? I saw you said don’t buy em from people I don’t know. So a random seller is someone I don’t know I take it so hatcheries? I saw that question wasn’t answered. Oh and what breed for beginners!

Toots was not meant to be.

I don't think anyone should buy grown birds from anyone they do not know very well.

I believe it is safer to not bring disease home if you buy eggs from a major hatchery.
