Us Brits love to complain about the weather. It is a national obsession. It is either too hot or too cold, too wet or too dry. Mostly too wet. If it's misty drizzle we lament the lack of proper rain. If it's bucketing down, we rue that it is too heavy. If it stop/starts showers, we moan that we can't predict what coat to wear. We are never happier than when we are discussing the weather, complaining about it, or wishing it was the opposite of what happened that day.
