Lord that reminds me of working at Olive Garden when people would pull a friggen bottle of Hidden Valley Ranch out of their purse for the salad.

Mimosas are sooooo good. My ex’s aunt used to wake us up every morning with mimosas when we stayed with her in New Orleans. Pretty sure she’s a professional alcoholic. Lol

I had been getting ready to do the beekeeping thing, I wanted to do carniolans. But then I realized, I'd rather not deal with being stung.

Carniolans are pretty gentle. In my opinion they are not the bees you want to keep if you really want a lot of honey.

The whole back of my hand swelled up before it started going down. The finger is back to normal but the back of the hand is still lightly swollen. That is from 4 days ago.

small price to pay for robbing the hive of that delicious, golden nectar. Were you wearing a bonnet and face net or just trust providence?

I've been wondering if I could take the back corner of my new place and let someone keep a hive or two back there in exchange for some honey.

As long as they're wandering around my garden, we're fine. I leave them alone, they leave me alone. I don't want to try to rob their hive, though. I not only don't like getting stung, I'm allergic to the venom so keeping bees myself isn't a good idea.
