⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

I pulled beets today. Two 5 gallon buckets plus one. All from a 12' row.

Niven would be in heaven in your garden.
Bunnies aren't allowed in my garden. You would never find her again.

I had a bunny that would get in the garden. Whenever I saw it I would remind it that it wasn't allowed in the garden. It would hop over to the fence, look back at me and crawl under the fence. It would wait on the other side of the garden for me where we would have a chat.

Eventually a neighbor's cat had a bunny dinner.

I know chickens are not the most intelligent creatures, but I genuinely fear for the survival of my current flock. They are by far and away, the dumbest birds I have ever had. DH is out of town for a few days, and since my schedule is highly irregular, I decided not to close the pop door at night. The run is very secure and I didn't want the birds waiting around for me in the morning. Secure in the knowledge that they could come and go as they please, I didn't go out there until 2 pm today to check their waterers and look for eggs. Guess what sight greeted me??? All 8 birds sitting patiently on their roosts, waiting for the human to give them permission to leave the coop :th
