⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

Maybe there is one near the new place somewhere? I’m sure you’ve already scouted out the area though 😭
The closest is in Medford, about an hour and a half away. My Thai friend and I plan on carpooling out there a couple times a year and buying them out.

I'm down to three chinchillas now. My oldest is almost 15.
Aww, sorry for your loss.
15, wow that's impressive! They must be well taken care of.
I'm considering getting one in the future so I've been doing lots of research lately. Though I worry I'll end up with a ton of them 😩🤚

I could easily be agreeable to such endeavors.
*bonus*
a) time with a dear friend
b) a planned fun small road trip
c) getting specialty stuff
d) those are all positive in my book

That's why my boys were in one cage and my girls in another. My girls are too old to have babies now, though, so my lone male has company.

It certainly makes the trip fun instead of a chore.

I think 20-25 is not unheard of with chinchillas. I know when my oldest had to go in to the vet he was always surprised at how healthy she was for her age.
Interesting, I never knew they could live for so long. I would guess the individuals genetics would effect that?
