⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

time to clean the lens. White fluff everywhere.

The birds are eating the second fig crop before they get close to ripe.
I've got several requests for fig starts also. I'll prune and start more trees this winter.
I have to put netting over the cherries and grapes. The robins think that all small fruits belong to them. I have currants everywhere and am lucky if I can harvest the 1 1/2 cups needed to make currant muffins.

I gave up on strawberries because they always disappeared before they got ripe.

It's up to 19 degrees here. I'm not letting the cold keep me from my morning walks, and I've learned that it's not so bad once you get moving.

I think I'm like my quail. As long as I'm dry and sheltered from the wind, I'm quite cold hardy.
It was 16°F and is now up to 18°F.
