Simeon woke up slowly, glad to see no one around. He wanted to get some fresh air, to walk outside. He slowly opened opened the door, and politely asked the nearest Mira how he could take a walk outside. He gave him dire actions, and soon Simeon was where he wanted to be: alone in the forest behind the house. He thought what his sister would want him to do now.

(When I said that he was 'locked' in the room, I literally meant that he was 'locked' in the room :p )

(Oh.) Simeon slowly got to the door and knocked on it. He paid special attention to the fact that his room was small, with no windows. Had Brooklyn tricked him and now he was a prisoner?

Brooklyn struggled to reach the top of the stairs, pausing to catch her breath before going to Simeon's room. She had just recently woke up shortly after the surgery of the bullets being removed and her wounds stiched. She now wore a swoop necked shirt with shorts that allowed the bandages around her thigh to not be restricted by pants, and more air flow or, atleast, that was what she had been told. She knocked gently on Simeon's door before entering the door, and locking the handle with a key that was returned to her pocket. "Hi," she smiled softly. "How do you feel?"

Simeon said "I feel fine, thanks. How are you?" Simeon was starting to doubt if his decision to come to the mansion was a good one. He seemed to be locked in a room, and it didn't seem like Brooklyn trusted him completely. He didn't like it at all.

"Fine." Brooklyn answered too quickly. She did feel better now that both bullets had been removed from her body, but while talking to the nurses before surgery she was informed that since her dispearance there was barely any supplies left, including medicine to numb pain. It was her job to order everything, so when she left no one knew what needed to be done, and so, with little pain medicine, Brooklyn knew that they had to use it carefully, so she decided against using it herself, leaving enough that Simeon was given it, and some remaining for the use of wounded Mira. "Can we talk?" She asked gently.

Simeon nodded, intent to talk.

Simeon nodded, intent to talk.

"I know you don't like the Mira," she said softly, struggling to walk the width of the room, before sitting on the edge of the bed and gesturing for him to join her. "And I respect that, I don't doubt your reasons for being this way, but I need to know that I can trust you. Until it's safe I want you to stay here, with me, but unless I have absolutely no doubt that you will not endanger the Mira, I can't let you out of this room, and I will be obligated to keep you in this room until it is decided what will be done with you." She sighed softly, before continuing. "I have a lot of people who depend on me to keep them safe, I can't dissolve that for affections that may or may not be real."

Simeon sighed. He said softly "I won't hurt anyone. I promise." He turned from her and looked at the ground. He was broken. All of his ideals were shattered. The thing he had fought for was gone, and he was left with nothing. He looked back up at her, and asked "So am i free of this room now?"

Brooklyn nodded, pleased with his decision. Quietly unlocking the door, she left it open. "Yes, whenever you like you may explore the mansion, or its grounds." She said, before silently leaving him with his thoughts.

Simeon slowly got up and made his way outside, to the woods behind the property. He found a stump about 200 yards out from the mansion, and sat down on it, glad to be alone. He couldn't believe himself. How he was in a MANSION, teeming with the very things that killed his sister, and he wasn't doing anything about it. She didn't do anything, why did they have to kill her.
