(Hey @Run Wild, is it okay if I start having Aya begin to suspect Devine and what his secret is? With her having fixed him up in a hospital, which *hint hint* would involve metal through stitching and tweezers and all that fun stuffs, I was thinking that now she's met him again and he's a little weird and closed off, she'll start remembering some weird things from before that she just simply overlooked because she didn't care.)

(Sure sounds great!)

Lydia gave Artemis a fake pout as she looked at her.
"Aw, you almost look like a little sad puppy with those mopey eyes of yours. Anyway, I better get going before Han stops being in such a good mood. See ya."

And at that, Lydia unlocked and opened the cell door, slowly pushing the heavy metal door shut and leaving Artemis alone once again.
Artemis whipped around to glare at Lydia. She didn't intend to express her emotions and hadn't realized when she did. She waited for the door to close before laying to rest on the cot.

As Aya showered, she allowed her mind to wander off and delve into all of her hidden curiosities that she often ignored. So many things to think about, and to analyze rather than worry.

It wasn't a big shocker when she found herself wondering about Devine. He was closed off, seemed to show up randomly and conveniently, and with his dark and moody behavior paired with the murder of his sister, and whoever was guilty slipping away, he could never be viewed as normal. And in this day and age, if you weren't normal you were something else.

On top of his odd story and behaviors, she now vividly remembered when he came into the hospital. Absolutely beaten, he looked like a train wreck. Gashes in his back, on his neck, on his chest. Things that would never heal, it almost sounded impossible for one simple man to have done so much damage to another.

He had glass in his skin, likely from being shoved onto the ground in a dark area where drunks usually put their beer bottles, he had cuts that needed stitching, and he had damaged ribs. With ever prick the needle made in his skin, there was a burn. Every time the tweezers pinched his skin, there was a burn. Every incision she made, there was a thin line of burnt skin. It was subtle, so she didn't worry too much about it, but it was still many burns that she had rubbed medicine on after everything more serious was taken care of.

And when they had dinner...He wasn't using metal spoons, was he? She didn't really pay much attention to that, maybe she'd just have to do some snooping if she was ever at his place again...Gosh, she felt nosy now.

But what if he wasn't actually human? It felt strange to think that, but it was valid.
If she not only was a clone, which he for some reason spotted immediately, but also helped an alien kill someone possibly important to the C.M.I, she was dead meat if she was ever caught. Maybe, just maybe, if she turned in an alien herself they would at least treat her a little better if they ever caught her.

But with her little knowledge of Devine, he'd probably sell her out if he didn't find out and kill her before then.

(Such a good post! She can turn him in to the C.M.I. if you want, I'm fine, either way.)
Devine left the shelter of the abandoned building. Dressed in dark clothing he emerged from the alley to walk along the sidewalks. He was more confident in his trust of Aya, but he doubted that she would help him find the murderer of his sister. To her it was violence, to him revenge.

(I don't think I'll have her do that, she's just exploring her options. Whenever characters are imprisoned it tends to make things boring for the player. :p)
