Artemis rubbed her temples, trying to focus her thoughts. There was voice in her head that was not her own, one that whispered lies, and although she wanted to compress the longing to have them fulfilled, the drugs ability was quite overpowering.
Jaxson made it around the floor fairly quickly then went to fetch a glass of water for Artemis.

Another agent entered the cell with a knife, and kicked Brooklyn awake.

Simeon watched solemnly from outside, eyeing Brooklyn's every expression.

Eyes only slightly opened so that would no else would see she was awake. Brooklyn grapped the wrist of the man, didn't let go forcing him to drop the knife. "I will not give up so easily. And if you think so than you are surely wrong!"

Simeon sighed and gripped his head. He had an immense urge to go help Brooklyn and leave. Lately, the C.M.I. hadn't been as strong as he wished.

The agent attempted elbowing her head.

(Hey Run Wild, do you want to role play with Aya now using your Mira? I can do a time skip for her so she's not at work anymore.)

Mythe was stomping towards his office, but a guard gathered the courage to stop him because of the blood on his knuckles and that murderous look in his eye that everyone knew all too well.

"Hey, Dr. Mythe, didn't you just come from Han's office?" The guard asked suspiciously, pulling Dr. Mythe aside.
"Yeah, I did. But that's none of your business. Now allow me to carry on with my day before I threaten to kill you." Mythe said darkly, staring at the guard.
The guard scratched the back of his head uncomfortably.
"Well, Mythe...I mean, my main job is to make sure nobody kills Chéng, because he has a ton of people who want him dead, and so the fact that you just left his office and you have blood on your hands is very concerning. So, you maybe want to tell me what you did?"

Right before Mythe had a chance to shout at or pulverize the guard, Han came walking up, his nose cleaned up from being punched.
"It's alright, Jason (random filler character name). Mythe just got a little worked up over one of my orders." Han said reassuringly. "But he's agreed to do it, after punching me in the face. Isn't that correct, Mythe?" He looked to Mythe with a fake smile.

"Yeah. I did. Even though it's not my job." Mythe growled.
Han chuckled and shook his head. "Oh, I believe it is. But that's just all opinions. Anyways, you should get back to your lab, I know you always go on about having to do so much work. So, go." Han looked at Mythe's furious expression smugly, and walked away in the other direction. He was currently going to do some research on Artemis's answers during the interrogation, to see whether she was lying or not.

Mythe glared at the guard before walking away, back to his lab. But for once he didn't feel like working, because the fact that he'd have to end up probably killing the last remains of his sister was taking up all of his thoughts. He didn't want to do it, and it wasn't his job to. But Han knew that Mythe had absolutely no respect for him, and just worked for him so he could get the lab equipment, so being able to control Mythe and make him do what he absolutely didn't want to was a chance he wouldn't risk missing.

(I'm just going to go ahead and get Aya out of work, then go to bed.)

After many long hours of work, Aya decided to call it a day rather early and left the hospital, glad to finally leave the place without it being 1:00 a.m. for once.

Getting in her car, Aya put some more foundation on her wrist and placed her bracelets securely back on before deciding a walk through the town wouldn't be a bad idea. She was usually either being a hermit at home or working all day, so she didn't get many excuses or chances to go look around the area she lived in.
Leaving her car and locking the door, Aya headed for the sidewalk and looked at all of the cute little buildings neatly lining the streets. But as she looked to the sky in thought and saw that it was completely clear, the desire to wander away from the light polluted place and do some stargazing quickly replaced the desire to look at the town. So, given the fact she had nothing better to do, Aya headed in the direction of a nearby forest. She had a knife and some Mace, so she felt pretty safe when it came to hanging out in the outskirts of the woods.

The agent attempted elbowing her head.

As Brooklyn blocked him skillfully, her wrist band slipped further up her right arm, exposing the Barcode tattooed on it.

Devine sat on the limb of one tree skirting the boundary of the forest. With one leg propped up on the limb, the other dangling down, and having his back propped up against the tree he sat in silence sharpening the end of a stick to a point with a knife aimlessly. He glanced every once in a while to view of the city laid out before him, haunted by revenge.
