Despite herself, Trixie grew more interested. "The Terracotta Army," she repeated, reaching into her memory and pulling out a dusty scroll of thought. Hundreds and hundreds of clay soldiers, all lined up. "I've head of that," Trixie told the man, cocking her head. "But why China?" she asked. "Just curious."(I'd think Contenders would get paid, if they were assigned with a job.)
Charlie hadn't noticed the woman walking beside him for a few moments, but when he heard someone's voice he looked at the source.
"Oh...Hello." He greeted in an awkward tone. He then looked to his book when she asked to see it.
"Well, sure, I suppose." Charlie finally answered. "It's about the history of China. It's bookmarked on page 198, and it talks about the Terracotta Army. I've seen it before, it's brilliant. Emperor Qin Shi Huang had ordered the army to be made." He told her rather quickly. The opportunity to talk about history always brought out the more talkative side in him.
