"Thank you, and it's okay," Amy said honestly. "You've had an exhausting couple of weeks, I'm sure, and yesterday wasn't easy for either of us. I was rather testy as well, for which I apologize." The bell downstairs rang, indicating that Jenny had arrived for work. Amy picked up her purse from a chair and turned to leave, but stopped at the door, hesitant. "You coming here has reminded me of things that I thought I had put past, forgotten out of necessity, but it seems some things just won't let you go."

Artemis watched Amy leave in silence, understanding what she meant. There were memories of her imprisonment, of pain and anguish, that she wished to forget, but there emotional hold on her could not be broken.

Simeon nodded, and joked "Dont make me go bankrupt, alright." He got his keys, and opened the door for her.

"Well, then, perhaps you shouldn't go around shooting women." Brooklyn gouded walking out the door. After a long silence, and while her back was still turned she teased quietly, "twice."

(XD Sure)

Amy, with much struggling, pulled her keys from her purse to let herself in the back door. The bags of groceries over both arms didn't make the task any easier. Jenny was out front serving a table so she put the items away herself and then proceeded up the stairs to her apartment.
She set the remaining bag on the counter then locked the door to ensure that there would be no unexpected pop ins by Jenny. "I'm back, and I've got contacts," she announced.

Artemis eagerly went to greet Amy. "Great, thanks. After I put them in can I please come help you downstairs in your coffeeshop?" She asked, desperate from being locked in a cell for several days to find freedom from the small apartment, and for once, do something besides occupy herself with daydreams.
