Okay has anybody else had this problem...
I ordered 25 chicks right, and they all are healthy and happy, except for one.. I noticed it the day I got them. Aaaaand now I see the problem. (I'm watching them.) her eyes are swollen and gooey and sealed shut so daily I clean them and give her some antibiotics. Anyways I see why this is happening. Everyone keeps pecking her eyes like its the best treat in the world!! Disgusting poor chick :'( grrrr this makes me mad like chickens are so dumb that they must eat each other lol. (I love chickens and I know they aren't dumb it's just one of those moments haha.)

Sorry it's really hard to tell. It's her right eye and btw that's not blood the lighting of the heat lamp makes her colouring look red.

I hate stuff like that.... I guess you will have to separate her out for a few days. With any luck, it will really be just a few days....usually they heal fast.
