🍁What Are You Thankful For This Year?

Our grandson was born on September 17th (33 weeks), but was due around November 1st. From that day, until the present, he's been in the NICU. He was diagnosed with an under developed heart and was immediately placed on a list to get a transplant...at just 2 weeks old. Well, today we just got an update that upon more tests, his heart has developed quickly, but not fully yet, and the good news is that they downgraded his urgency for a transplant. He may still require one, but so far, it's looking lesser likely. So, to make the story short, we are so grateful for the news that we got this morning.
Thank you for sharing this good news about your grandson, @Knobby. So thankful! We will keep him in our prayers. 🙏
A good friend of mine has a five month old nephew on the heart transplant list, and it has been ups and downs the whole time.
The latest news on him from yesterday was also very encouraging.

Thank you @BoundlessLove ! We do believe in the power of prayers, and it's what gets us through the trials and tribulations of life.

Thankful for the rippin' headache I had today which caused DW to cancel invitation, do our dinner home. Little relaxing after eating dinner, time for pie. DW went to cut pie and said the electric stove never shut down. Oven was up over 600 degrees. the whole unit was untouchable had to use oven mitts to pull it. Simple fix, just unplug the damn thing. 220 feed wasn't even warm. Who knows if we weren't home. Our biggest concern, pup would have been home alone. Anyway, guess what DW is getting for Christmas. They don't call me Lance Romance for nothing. :lau
