What's your favorite flavor

I do not eat this.
The mini likes the orange package.
It's fake chicken flavor.

Maruchan beef and chicken kept me alive in college. :p They were 10 for a buck back then. We keep several types in the house now. Shin Red and Black, Indo Mie Goreng, and good ol' Maruchan.

Ramen is super versatile. You can eat it just on its own and have a quick and filling meal/snack. Or use it as a base platform for something more complex. Find a base you like, then build on it. Add your own extras (veggies, fish, meats, an egg, whatever). The possibilities are endless.

I like mixing it with seaweed, green onions, and mushrooms cooked in a fish and miso stock base.

We don't eat them since the kids left about 20 years ago.

They are a great treat for the chickens though, on a very rare occasion.

Take the flavor packet out and put it with your bouillion to use later for some recipe. Pound the noodles so they all break up then soak in warm water for a few minutes. Drain and when cool, fling them out in the yard. The chickens go crazy.

They are close to zero nutritional value but do have some protein, just lots of carbs the chickens don't need. I've soaked them with a little nutra drench in the water so I'd feel better. :D It's fun to watch them eat them.
