Looking to Rehome 1 or 2 Roosters – New Haven, CT (Willing to Travel a Bit)

Hi neighbors! I’m looking for a good home for one or two healthy roosters in the New Haven area of Connecticut. They’re around 9 week old Rhode Island Reds and have been well-cared for, indoors until now. They are fully feathered and ready to go outside and they need a good home that can take them. They are friendly with the other 4 Female chickens but cannot go with them.

• Friendly with people: Yes, no pecking me when I feed them
• Get along with each other: Yes, no pecking the other 4 chickens they are housed with
• Not aggressive, just too many for our setup
• Raised indoors with good feed
• Would thrive with experienced chicken keepers or on a small farm

Would love to find a safe, permanent home — not for meat, please
