Henhouse Harlot
Songster
These guys were rescued from my neglectful neighbors flock, there are seven chicks, mixed heritage with some Silky in there. Good temperaments, hardy, and small! Probable roosters in this batch, please be certain you can have chickens where you live before responding!!!
One chick has a super cute poofy head!
The darkest chick has tiny poofy cheeks.
Sooooo adorable, they need a home where the human cares for them.*
(The previous owner believes that her chickens don't need to be fed at all or cared for in any way, ever. She really thinks they're completely self-sufficient, unless they're kept in a coop. Seriously.)
I'm in the Salem, OR. area, I'm driving North tomorrow to Vancouver, WA.
Anyone???
I'm not really set up for babies right now, I've got them in my "off-grid" brooder at the moment. (My heat plate is broken!)
A Mason jar filled with boiling water, wrapped in towels and newspaper, and a hot rice sock. I DO have a thermometer!
I've given them Nutri-drench in their water, and some moist chick crumble. Anyone???
Thank you!!!
