Hi my name is Diana and I'm located in NC
I've been wanting chickens for a long time and finally in April 2022 was able to convince my husband to get them, he absolutely loves them as much as i do..
We started with 5 chicks from TSC. Three Easter Eggers a Black sex link and a white leghorn... a week after that my husband came home with seven Buff Orpington chicks and 2 weeks after that I couldn't resist bringing home four Gold laced Wyandotte chicks.
5= 16, Chicken math lol.
These Chickens are a God send. They bring me peace and make me giggle with their antics. I plan on getting a few more this spring as well as a couple of geese and maybe some ducks.
Im full time a pet portrait artist and work from home. I also have dogs and parrots and am involved in animal rescue.
I'm happy to have found this discussion board, as it's been a wealth of information. I look forward to getting to know you all
