2 to another BYC member
1 to a good breeder
1 to a family
1 to a good local chicken keeper

Seeeee?! Pippin gets it! I rehome almost all my roosters to a man who's mother owns an all-rooster flock (I don't get how some people do it) And my hens to my mom's friend.

One time I had a disabled duckling we named her the r word cayuga but we spent so much time caring for her and giving her medication that at one point we spent nearly $100 on her...my dad later released her into a pond where she was killed by something and yes I was crying cuz I loved her

(don't say something rude or anything this was a couple years ago)

I guess I'll never know (we're the type of people to sell the chicken off to the butcher...believe me)

I keep all of my “special” chickens and love them with all my heart. There is something about the “messed up” ones that I love. I love them most of all.
