It's cold here this morning. Wind is back and awfully gloomy. I believe they're calling for rain all week. Thankfully it's supposed to warm up though.

Headed into town. Need to go by bank, feed store and going to pick the little one up some frijoles and rice from her favorite place.

Emmit will be finishing up another broody jail this afternoon. Starting to look like Auschwitz here again. Too many broodies in jail.

My niece was born with flat feet. I think she wears a special orthotic in her shoes. That is when she's wearing shoes they'll fit in.

I've got bantam cochins. Currently only two colors. I have 3 more colors on my list, but I'm trying to get these two flocks established first.

I now have 3 giant Cochin, BF thinks they are adorable fluffy butts..
first is Blue had two gave one away to a old gal who is raising her Grandson she had two
one passed she got a young one.. then the other passed had the young Blue so gave it to her ..

So my Aunt (In northern IL) made me His & Hers pillow cases for Christmas.

We got home today and there was an unexpected package at the gate. It was from my Aunt. I wasn't sure what to expect.

Look at what she made me!!! A quilt to match our pillow cases! The white patches have little chicken footprints on them.

Sounds like my Family. One year My present was wrapped up material and a pattern. I had to give it back so that my Aunt could sew the shirt for me LOL. I did have for the next school year....
