Nope. I've always loved them and wanted to get chickens a few year back, which is how I found BYC. This spring two wild Mallards visited for the second spring. They came at around 5pm most day and stayed until about 7pm. Sometimes though they'd come at 5am, take a walk around the neighborhood at 1pm, then come back at 4pm. They follow me everywhere and eat right out of my hands. Of course, I fell in love with them and did some research (ok a lot of research) on everthing about them. I heard about how many ducklings are abandoned and rescued so I learned about care for them too. I remembered this site so I made an account. I was going to try to volunteer at the rescue but then crazy virus started.. I was still researching about wild ducklings but in the process I learned a lot about raising domestic ducks, so I learned all about the different breeds, duck houses, ect. Now I want ducks. You don't have and poultry or waterfowl?
I'm still not even old enough to drive, and we live in a suburban neighborhood without a whole lot of yard space.
I am homeschooled though so I'll have plenty of time to learn about them.
I want to move out in the country, maybe up in the panhandle by Alabama. I would get goats, ducks, chickens, alpacas, horses, pigs, and maybe some more dogs.
Sorry for the long post lol
