In a rather serial manner, in my case. I got some French gin going as i type and it tastes like they have added some ginger in the mix the only blessing is its got a high alcohol content

I though ginger was an ingredient in gin?

Yep, I knew it was juniper berries but I thought it was also ginger. I was watching "How it's Made" awhile back and could have sworn that ginger was a part of the ingredients or maybe they were just adding it to their new line?

Yeah, no doubts about ginger having a highish chance of being in a lot of gins. What i meant (but failed to convey ) was that the gin tasted of ginger
