Most people think we are similar to Arizona but we are closer in climate to Colorado, at least the northern 2/3 rds of NM is. Our southern 1/3rd is quiet dry, but we don't have the saguaros like AZ.

Huh, very interesting!! I seriously am one of those people that thought it was a giant desert. :lau :hide there are giant deserts elsewhere though right? :hide

mojavi desert is in California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah. Not New Mexico though

Thanks for the info!! So this is probably a stupid question but what’s that one like famous stretch of desert or highway or whatever that’s like just nothingness in some valley or something I think? I think it’s in a lot of movies. I think maybe a famous highway too? Idk. There’s probably a bunch of highways like that out there :lau :hide
