We pee outside around here Sour.... Well I don't if I can avoid it... But the boys do! That's part of being a boy. You did good to teach him. His dad can worry about the public thing.

I have always let my boys pee outside, from the get go. So easy. My grandson now has occasionally pooped outside (that’s where we always are). Luckily we are always at or around the coop where paper towels and plastic bags are. Easy breezy butt cleaning.

I honestly did worry about my oldest son possibly going behind the slide or some other object to pee when he went to kindergarten.

I wasn’t gonna add that part of my life, @Overo Mare, but I will since you mentioned it first. When I’m working outside I pee when the urge hits. It’s too much trouble to walk to the house, take off the yucky boots and go in. We actually have an old working toilet in the barn, but there’s so much junk in front of it that it’s unusable right not. It’s just too easy to squat. However, I’ve not pooped outside any that I can recall, though.

I think would and could hold poop indefinitely if I had to go outside. If I'm out somewhere where a toilet is either too gross or hard to come by, I'll drop em and pee. At horse shows and jousting tournaments, the back of the trailer is my potty.

We all for the most part go inside although the two males here have been known to pee outside .. Eons ago had this mutt it was a male .. Dad was going to teach it lift his leg
learn by example yes.. Ma had her little brownie out, snapped Dad lifting his leg on hydrant..
Dog watches walks over squat and pee'd .. About a year later I was told he was lifting his leg
