Dig if you will a picture of me running errands on a tight timeline today...

I hadn’t eaten so I was probably looking a little peaky. I had Meaty in tow so I was covered in dog hair. I walked into Grangettos with the dog in the stroller. (They probably didn’t know it was a dog because I had a blanket over the top.) They probably wondered why my ā€œbabyā€ was panting so hard. They probably wondered why I was covered in hair & (since the dog decided at that very second to poop in the stroller) they probably wondered why I hadn’t changed my panting child’s poopy pants. Ugh! It was so embarrassing! Not only did I look like the whitest of white trash, but I was also pacing up & down the isles trying to defy insanity by insisting that they had poultry dust (when they didn’t) because my DH swears he bought it there last time. They finally got me & my poopy, panting ā€˜child’ out of there by assuring me that the feed store down the street would definitely have it. Well duh! I know the feed store has it but I was in a hurry & this place was closer. Luckily the people at the feed store are always very nice to me... We all know those guys are used to crazy people.
Anytime you feel like you have an extra a touch of crazy in you, feel free to refer back to these pics.

Now how cool is that. My DH always wanted to take square dance lessons. He has rhythm, I don’t...unless I’ve had several drinks. :lau Then I think I do, but I still don’t.:gig
If hes a good leader you dont need to have rythem. A good leader gives confidence and a good Caller helps keep the rythm and tells you what steps you are doing.

I never did Square Dance except in High school. But I did learn basic ball room dancing at a place in Del Mar Called Little bavaria. I was dating a guy who didnt drink but loved to dance. I learned the Oompa style of polka Shoddish as well as the onestep, Two step, and Fox trot, He was a VERY good leader didnt fuss when I needed his balance on occasion.

Then Comes Country and Western. Best teacher I ever had was a Air Craft Controller on the Nimitz... Pilsbury Dough kind of guy. But OH was he in demand for dancing. Not much of a talker but Waltzing was awesome... Two step, Buss stop, Which was kind of complicated and he would quickly correct me.

The other best leader was a fellow in his nineties... Balance like a rock Good sense of humor and Always had women in line to get to dance with him.

I love it. The Pillsbury Dough Boy all the way to a old geezer! You know, even though I ā€œdon’t have rhythm,ā€ I’m certain I would have had fun had I allowed myself.

It’s funny, but I don’t mind making fun of myself (and I do - all the time). But, I’m very insecure if I’m seriously trying to do something and wind up making a fool of myself. So, it’s best I leave the dancing to others.
