Still working with my 8 week old blue copper marans chick.. first her head around her right eye swelled up.. I thought she had gotten pecked.. got that resolved, then a week ago Thurs went out to feed the kids and found her laying cold on the ground covered with ants. She's still indoors in her nursery and doing well.. today I notice a small spot near the left side of her comb that looks like a blister or burn. Poor gal. She's in good spirits and doing well other than that. I have been using sub-lingual B complex daily.. I just drop it on top of her feed when I fill her bowl and she goes after those orange dots like they are candy.. I'm thinking of getting some liquid baby vitamins and using those instead to balance out the vitamins she's getting.
 
Did I post this here yet? Someone posted it in the gallery and the 12-year-old in me thought it was funny.
