Never did heroin lived through the others .. I was smart youngster but was with Grandma till I was 8 frustrated is a good word when I got pulled to move here with family :idunnoall worked out but spent some time figuring life after that
I tried pot once, but didn't like how it made me feel, and I didn't like not having control of all my senses. I have a 46 year old son who thought pot was great, led to xanax, then to cocaine, then heroin. He's in treatment now for the umpteenth time. I hope he survives it all.

:hugs I hope so too! It’s hell on earth for the rest of the family as well as the user.

Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry to hear that. :hugs It is just as difficult for the whole family as it is the person with the addiction. Sometimes I feel like it's even harder because you want so bad to help those you care about but you're helpless to do anything if they don't want you to.
I've heard some miraculous stories though. I do hope this is your son's last need for treatment and he can live a healthy life from here on out.

'Dad' is doing a great job.
Yep, ...it's really fascinating to watch and learn first hand what you have heard stories about but now you are actually experiencing it.
I've had other quail, hatch out their clutch but had to take them away because they abandon the chicks. So this is a 'new one' for me.
