I'm having a fistful of hamburger helper for supper but I'm skipping the side of bread, probably.
I haven't had a beer in January! Or any alcohol. I deserve a beer.

Sorry :oops: yes I did which is why I didn’t today. I have definitely been making changes, this is a big improvement for me and I am already feeling better. Yesterday I felt horrible after that
Also since you just mentioned that you over ate yesterday and you know what is a good size portion for you and what's not why did You continue to overeat yesterday?


It wouldn't hurt you to eat a little bit less at each meal.
It wouldn't hurt you.
But it will hurt you if you continue to do what you did yesterday so just try to force yourself to do s*** you don't necessarily like but you know is good for you.
I promise you it won't kill you.
 
This, right here. First focus on content, then focus on portion size. If you've been eating fast food you have to retrain your taste buds. @TheDawg have you calculated your basal metabolic rate? There's lots of online calculators, you plug in your personal stats and it gives you a good idea of how many calories to aim for depending on your goals.
Yeah, my taste buds are not used to this 🤣 although I actually really liked this so that’s good. Sometimes with healthy stuff I don’t like it. I did add hot sauce though but less than my usual amount.

And I have not yet. How do I do that? Is there one that’s better than others?
 
I prefer them a little on the green side but I don't gross out if it's a little ripe.
I just wonder where these kind of issues come from.
The way I grew up you ate what was put in front of you or you didn't eat. Lots of folks grew up the same way.
How did anyone survive with texture issues. 🤣
You got good at eating whatever you could swallow. Growing up, there were several times that i would miss a meal because I wouldn't eat.

Because I hadn’t eaten the entire day and I was extremely starving and also I had already made it and didn’t want to waste it. Plus I ate super fast so didn’t really catch up till after. But yeah. I know but don’t always listen. But I’m working on it. I probably should have just tossed the rest yesterday but yeah. It was like a combination of a bunch of different stuff.

But yeah. I’ll work on it.

I also can't eat ripe bananas. LOVE the firm green ones, but the mushiness once they start turning yellow doesnt work with me.
I love ripe bananas too! I have to wait for them to get nice and ripe before I eat them. Which means, I usually have a three day window before they become banana bread worthy

Isin't it funny how eating like crap makes you feel like crap? It's awesome to me how our bodies respond so much better to the better food. And it is a journey, so don't fret. One meal at a time, one day at a time. Before you know it, a whole week can go by and you ate healthy all week!

Please dear God work on a day routine. It will help you in so many ways You can't possibly understand today but I'm telling you a daily routine will help you tremendously.
Planning ahead makes things so much easier.

Yeah it really is awesome!! And my tastebuds are already adapting too to where now I get grossed out if it’s too salty or sweet or something
