I'm not fat anymore. I'd like to keep it that way and gain muscle this year.
Heck yeah! Keeping it that way is tough. All the tasty foods America provides 🤗 And what do you consider fat? 20 to 30 extra pounds? To me that’s just out of shape and being lazy. Or was it a major weight loss?

Other half and I were 5 months into eating clean and working out together. Then we got Covid, even had it on our wedding day 🤨 Covid took all that hard work away! Gained 20 pounds, lost half or more of my hair, none of my pants fit and could barely ride 20 miles trail riding. No way to win races.

I've had to lose more than 50 pounds before but yes...30 extra pounds is fat to me.
Especially on someone my size.
 
I am in the same camp as @JacinLarkwell
I have plans to do better this year (move more, drink more water and tea etc.). I think my goals will improve my health while also being realistic to my current situation. I want to set achievable goals that can lead to sustainable change. I am not going to try something drastic, fail in the first week, and immediately go back to my old habits. No matter what Kiki says :p
