They are 4 weeks and 5 weeks I believe. I think they were too hot and trying to cool off in their waterer. Ever since I turned off the heat lamp they haven’t been trying to splash in the waterer. They aren’t huddled together to sleep either they have been spread out.How old are they? If they are younger than 4 weeks I would highly recommend continuing to provide heat at night even if your house is at 70. Though I do agree that a natural daylight schedule is optimal.
What kind of waterer do you have? A lot of us have success with putting rocks in a water container so it can't be tipped. I used a gallon juice jug and cut duckling sized head holes in it. This way they could get their entire heads submerged but not climb in their water container to swim. My duckings never spilled it.
