Manual or electric?

We had manual in Typing 1, then in Typing 2 we got to use an ELECTRIC typewriter, a big dinosaur.

It looked like this:

But within a few years the Selectric came out, with the removable typeface ball:

You expect me to remember what it looked like? Good Lord. All I know is we did not have to move the thingy over when we got to the end of a line so I'm guessing that means electric?
