I was reading this website thinking ok that sounds like it could be true about the hawk eggs but then I read this and it talks about duck eggs being unsafe to eat and now I’m questioning this whole website.

This is probably referring to wild ducks and geese. imo. I (and pretty much everyone here) have no issues eating my ducks' eggs.
