Our first silkies born in May have been laying!...We have 3 babies from their first 'batch'(pictured below with our 3 week old duck Cocoa!) and 4 that made it thru the 18 days going on lock down today!!...

I also found the cure for chick addiction, eat the eggs...HEHE!...If I keep them for any length of time, I know they will end up in a bator and I think we've actually reached our habitational peak(need ANOTHER coop already)!...7 months ago I thought 6 dogs and 2 silkies would be fine, now we have 9 silkies(4 more on the way) and 5 ducks...

The Silkies are 1 week old and the duck is 3 weeks old...

Nobody else is plannng on staying inside during these cold days watching fuzzy butts enter the world?!?!?

>>>is that a khaki cambell duck?

Yepper!

We just changed her waterbowl and she decided to try and swim in it...She barely fit laying in it then had the gall to try and dive in the 1/2 inch of water left in there!...It freaked her out so I filled the tub and let her play in it for a while, now she's all clean! hehe
