1:1 or 1:2 Rooster Ratio?

I raised some banties this spring and it looks like I'm only getting 2-3 pullets out of the batch. I'd like to hold onto one of my roosters for sure, but I'm not sure if one of my silkie chicks is a rooster. If it end up being a rooster, would a silkie and a cochin rooster get along? Right now both chicks are the sweetest of the bunch. Would that overwhelm 2-4 pullets or would only one do the mating?
