1/3 of our flock has died suddenly milky eyes.

Removed the lightsand got rid of the feed and the chickens stopped dying like a day twodays later and 3 of the chickens that fell ill and were quarantined recovered and were walking around scratching after about 4 days. Thank you for all your thoughts and suggestions we still don't know the cause but if not forall the suggestions probably would have lost the wholeflock.

Glad they stopped dying, and sorry again for your losses. If you want a heater we have a cozy coop heater and a sweeter heater. The cozy coop mounts on the wall and the sweeter heater is suspended. They are safe for coops and designed for chicken keeping. We have had ours for about 3 years with no ill effects.
