out of 10 chickens all healthy 1 keeps laying a soft rubbery egg by the time i open to coop, and also a soft shelled egg with a long top sometimes,
strange thing is i have 9 girls and i am getting 1 rubber egg in the morning 9 normal eggs in the day and a weak shelled egg extra every odd day, so i am gettign extra eggs than girls some days some are new layers some are 3 yr old, and the new layers are crossed from decalbs which used to give me 2 a day so im not surprised i have extra eggs .

but the soft shell egg and the rubber morning egg i dont know about,
there fully organic on a full chicken feed, oyster grit available and they get all my hunt harvests sheep and deer carcasses as they have for 10 years , so they have complete if not over complete amino and protein free picking all day , bone meal from broths which fall appart, so it cant be calcium,

so it cant be calcium
It can. Sometimes a bird has malabsorption of calcium. Try a more bioavailable calcium source. If you know the bird in question, give her calcium citrate with vitamin D, 600-630 mg daily for a week and see if that helps. This is what I use.

Note that to get the correct dose, you need to feed 2 tablets daily. I give one in the morning and one in the afternoon, as close as I can manage to every 12 hours.

If your girl is a new layer of a high production breed, her reproductive system may need a bit more time to fully mature. These birds pay a huge price to produce all those eggs in such a short amount of time.
