Hi! First time chicken egg incubator here. I have some eggs incubating from a local farm. Yesterday morning one hatched and he was placed in the brooder with a heat lamp. Today (about 36hrs later) another one hatched, and I placed it in the brooder with yesterday’s chick and it was immediately (and repeatedly) attacked. I separated the two of them for now, but need some advice on how to prevent this as I have some more eggs that may hatch soon and do not have room for more brooders. I do not know the species of these chickens so advice on that would also be appreciated.

Put some blue kote on a Q-tip and put a tiny dot on the red spot on the younger chick.
Then take a red sharpie marker and put red dots around the walls of the brooder to distract the older chick from pecking the younger one.
Also, make a larger brooder. I would try to make it three times the size you have. Put red dots on it's walls too them move them to the larger brooder.
