This is my 3rd time posting in a couple weeks. I had a barred rock hen who passed away after a couple weeks of green diarrhea, not eating and lethargy. The vet did a fecal and found nothing, she was dewormed and given corrid and nutri drench plus vitamins in water and nothing helped. Vet thinks she had tumors and is going to open her up to see.

But now, I have a 4 y/o red sex link chicken who has diarrhea and is moving slow, barely eating. I've had a few sexlinks die quickly and i know they dont live long but since it's happening right after the other I'm worried. All I gave her was nutri drench and washed her off.

Is there some kind of antibiotic I can try? The other 8 hens seem healthy but I'm really worried it's something contagious.

Thank you!!

Nutrena laying & all flock crumbles, we give them leftover fruits and veggies but stopped all treats when Maxine got sick so nothing extra. They have oyster shells and free range so plenty of bugs too
Why both layer, & All Flock? All Flock with Oyster shells on the side would be sufficient.

Did the vets test for Salmonella?

Mostly I buy all flock but it sells out often so then I'll buy the layer instead. I'm not sure, all the vet did was a fecal and it came back clean. Also she has been drinking a ton of water this afternoon. It's about 90 degrees here

As long as they have plenty of shade, cold water, & dirt to take dust baths they'll be fine with the heat.

Should probably get a Salmonella test done in case.
