I have 7 out of 10 developing.( from shipped eggs, not bad.) They go on lockdown tomorrow night. One of the seven looks to be behind the others in development by about 2 days. It is still alive, saw the wiggly bugger last night when I candled. I guess I just lock down that one with the others? It will be a little early for that one egg, and why is it behind? They were all set at the same time, incubator temp is even throughout. Weird.

Don't know why some lag in development. Lockdown shouldn't be an issue. Just hope for the best for that one!

It's probably due to the amount of time the egg was stored before it was set - your slow developer was probably an older egg. No worries though - I just hatched a duckling that looked like it was a day or two behind the others when I candled throughout the incubation period. It was the oldest egg in the bunch when I set them.
