I've got 17 eggs in a LG. I took the turner out a day ago. Today, one of the eggs hatched. The chick is still wet after several hours (is this normal?) and as it stumbles around trying to get her footing, it's bumping into the other eggs and I'm worried it'll damage them.

What say you, more knowing folks? Should I take the chick out now? Should I put the eggs in a carton so they don't roll? Or should I not worry about it?

Thank you!!!

From reading different post. I would leave the chick alone, the eggs should be OK... How the humidity?

It always looks so chaotic, with the new chicks playing soccer with their hatch mates. Doesn't seem to affect the ones still in the shell. My experience has been that the ones that don't hatch, has nothing to do with being punted around for a couple of days. Don't worry about it.

Great, I'll relax a little bit. Thank you! The humidity is 75% ish. Got water in there and several wet paper towels at the corners.
