1 hen laid 6 eggs in 7 days.

I was so excited about the 1st egg I knew it could be a day or two between eggs. She did skip day two and to my surprise has laid an egg every day after. I know it is the same hen I see her in the nesting box. She is a 20 week old Dominique. I'm so happy. Could she lay like this every week. That's alot of eggs out of one hen. I'm not complaining I just want to know what to expect. I have 6 other hens that should be ready soon. Wow, eggs eggs everywhere!

Good for you. I don't know about your chicken because I don't have that kind but my RIR started laying 2 weeks ago and I have been getting an egg every day. Isn't it great?
