We're going to let my son's kindergarten class hatch some chickies for our backyard pleasure. I purchased the Brinsea Mini Advance so it does everything for me (turning, humidity level, temp regulation). We decided to give it a trial run and had a coworker collect some eggs for us. She collected 12 over 3 days last week in Ohio so temps were rather chilly. We both stored them properly for incubating.
So here we are 7 days past the start so we candled them and I am only seeing one egg with an "eye". 1 egg looks completely empty and the other 5 I can see a dark yolk sac and it moves when I turn the egg slowly (not like something inside moving but moving due to gravity)...I tried to take pictures but my camera doesn't like the no light thing. I do not see a blood ring...I also don't see any veins on any of the eggs (I assume my light isn't bright enough) and all of the eggs look slightly porous...
The only example I can give you is from this thread. The 5 eggs look exactly like the top, middle picture. Where it says: Undefined, hard to tell. My eggs have those dots (porous) and when doing a close up, you can see a yolk looking spot....

Anyone, advise?

Usually when I am doubtful I wait a few more days to see if there is improvement. Just wait maybe you just have dark eggs and you can't really see too well. I doubt only one would be fertile but I guess it's not impossible though.
